On July 14, country music icons Wynonna and Naomi Judd brought their star power to St. Jude during a special visit. The legendary mother-daughter duo learned about the lifesaving work of St. Jude and shared their love and concern for children by meeting with patients and their families.
The visit to St. Jude came before The Judds are to begin their 18-city final tour, The Last Encore. Kentucky natives, The Judds are one of the most successful country music duos of all time – amassing 14 No. 1 hits and more than 60 music industry awards and captivating a massive audience with their homespun, acoustic harmonies. The Judds’ tour is slated to begin at the end of November. The ongoing relationship between St. Jude and The Judds prompted the duo to include and honor the work of St. Jude on their final tour with a portion of the proceeds from designated Fan and VIP Packages supporting St. Jude.
